Survival on water planets may be possible according to new study

Eric Ford, an ICS co-hire and professor of astronomy and astrophysics, coauthored a study with Edwin Kite, assistant professor of geophysical sciences at the University of Chicago. Through thousands of simulations on the Institute for CyberScience-Advanced CyberInfrastructure and the University of Chicago’s Research Computing Center, the duo determined that life on water planets may be possible.
