Biosensing Forum will be held to explore the scope of academic interest and relevant professional and scientific expertise at Penn State in three application areas: One Health, Agriculture, and Environment. The discussion in each Panel is envisioned to be in the context of six seed Thrusts: (1) Laboratory to Point-of-Need, (2) Internet of Biosensors, (3) Phenotype vs. Genotype Screening, (4) Adaptable Detection Methods, (5) Individual Care and Monitoring, and (6) Responsive Antimicrobial Materials.
This event is part of a broader University-wide effort to launch a biosensing initiative at PSU to develop translational scientific innovations and advances, novel methods and techniques in the field.
