Expanding Access to Advanced CyberInfrastructure

XSEDE is an NSF-sponsored service organization that provides access to both 1) powerful computing resources and 2) technical expertise. The 10-year, $220-million project coordinates resources and people to make the national cyberinfrastructure ecosystem highly effective. The ultimate goal is to help researchers do computer-dependent science and scholarly work more quickly and effectively.

Meet our “Campus Champion”

Find out more from Penn State’s Campus Champion, Chuck Pavloski (cfp102@psu.edu). The Campus Champion serves as

  • a source of local, regional, and national high-performance computing and cyberinfrastructure information on your campus
  • a source of information regarding resources and services that benefit research and education on your campus
  • a contact point for start-up accounts, to quickly get researchers and educators using their allocations
  • a conduit for campus high-performance computing needs, requirements, and challenges, with direct access to XSEDE staff.
