The former RCC has become part of the Institute for CyberScience and is operated as the Institute for CyberScience’s Advanced CyberInfrastructure or ICS-ACI. Welcome to our website. We want to point out some pages that might be of interest to you and provide a brief guide to using the site and getting help using our systems.
If you are looking for technical support, please visit our i-ASK Center page. We use a ticket system for tracking communications with users, and you may submit a ticket just by emailing email@example.com.
We are in the process of making available some of the user guides that were available on the RCC site. If you are looking for a specific guide or information you may have bookmarked, please let us know by emailing i-ASK at the address above.
Be sure to familiarize yourself with the resources made available in the Support section of the site. We have information on proposal support, classroom support, onboarding new users, our software stack, and we are developing tutorials.
News from the Director
ICS Director Padma Raghavan provides updates and announcements that should be of interest to ICS-ACI users. You can find the latest news and an archive of past announcements by clicking ICS Announcements.
ICS Policies and Accounts
ICS-ACI runs on transparent policies, and we make every effort to spell those policies out explicitly for our users and make that information easily accessible. For the current versions of our policy documents, see the Policies section.
If you need an ICS Account to access one of our Lion-X systems (including Hammer, CyberSTAR, BioSTAR, etc.), see the ICS Accounts page. If you are an external collaborator working with one of our Penn State faculty members and needing access to our systems, you might need to sign up for a Slim Access Account and can begin that process at the Slim Accounts page.
Help us build the future. Contact ICS at Penn State.
